eBooks and Digital Art Samples

Client: e-Commerce Business

Digital eBook cover samples (for eink and writing tablets)

Digital art samples for mixed use (print and eCommerce)

  • Canva, Adobe Creative (Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Pro)

    • The Sudoku eBook collection was designed for grayscale with intention and for use by focus-oriented eInk tablet users. The grayscale design decision is also a tribute to print newspapers, the first known platform to publicly debut a predecessor of modern-day Sudoku (Paris, 1890s).

    • The samples in the “Ambiance Collection” are digital art designed for diverse application across print and digital mediums (wall art, notebook and journal covers, wallpapers, screensavers, eInk writing tablet journal covers, etc.).

This eclectic collection leans into fusing elements of modern minimalism and surrealism; it is inspired by the brain wave states (alpha and theta) that channel human creativity and flow states.

  • Digital art mindfully designed for diverse application across product lines.

    Needs:

    • Clean design in both color and grayscale

    • eBooks are fully hyperlinked with QR alternative for reMarkable tablets and other non-web based function

    • Diverse screen and page compatibility (including for reMarkable tablets)

Small Business Marketing Flyer

Client: WorldKind

This rapid development print-ready sponsorship flyer was designed to effectively communicate the value of corporate sponsorships to potential partners. Recognizing the client's need for a modern, engaging marketing tool that adhered to brand standards, I collaborated closely with the client to refine the strategy and copy. The resulting collateral highlights the sponsorship levels and benefits while also underscoring the impact of their support on U.S. university students, community colleges, and minority-serving institutions.

  • Canva (per the client’s request)

  • Challenge
The project required rapid development over just three iterations. The client faced several obstacles: they lacked external print marketing collateral, their business materials were scattered, and they struggled to keep text concise on the page. Additionally, they did not have a structured sponsorship pricing strategy, complicating the communication of a clear message to potential sponsors.

    Solution
In collaboration with the client, I worked to refine the strategy and copy, ensuring the content was tailored and focused. I developed a print-ready flyer aimed at a business audience that adhered to brand standards while incorporating a modern design approach. The flyer featured simplified sponsorship levels with clearly defined benefits, articulating how corporate sponsorships would support U.S. university students, community colleges, and minority-serving institutions. Key company attributes, such as its status as a public benefit company and woman-owned business, were highlighted to enhance credibility and align with the audience's values.

This collaborative effort resulted in a visually appealing and professional flyer that effectively communicated essential information in a concise format, supporting the client’s sponsorship objectives and enhancing their overall marketing strategy.

Print and Digital Adult Ed Collateral

Client: Glow Mama Holistic

Needs Overview
The client’s existing graphics and explainers for a niche 6-week adult education program were limited and outdated, failing to optimize learning or support engagement effectively.

Key Program Elements

  • Primary color palette: Orange-gold spectrum

  • Core themes (tool activators): Relax, Release, Peace, "Bubble of Peace"

  • Learner Methods: BRAINS/BRAIND technique, finger-drop technique

  • Focus and purpose: Prioritized resources and reminders

  • Canva, Adobe Creative

  • Design Needs
The objective was to create visually appealing, modern assets that would resonate with a predominantly female audience while reinforcing key learning points. Each design aimed to enhance engagement and foster a deeper connection with the content.

    Solution
I developed two main types of visual aids to meet these needs:

    1. Wall Posters – Designed for in-class reinforcement, these posters provided a constant, visual reminder of key concepts, creating a calming and motivational atmosphere in the learning space.

    2. Infographic-Based Visual Library – Tailored for micro-learning, the visual library was divided between a public-facing website and a client portal, reinforcing weekly lessons and pre-teaching critical concepts. These assets distilled essential information and answered common questions, making key takeaways easily accessible and memorable.

Both sets of assets prominently featured the program’s core themes, aligning with the brand’s color palette and focusing on simplicity and clarity to maximize retention and engagement.

eLearning Collateral

To experience this interactive sample, hover over and select a hotspot or tab.

These interactive hotspot assets were designed for an eLearning module on fitness abroad, targeting adult learners ages 18-22. The objective was to create an engaging, interactive experience with scenario-based learning featuring three recurring characters whose fitness journeys framed the module.

For additional module design samples, visit the “Related Module Assets” tab. Here, you’ll find three related designs, including custom-designed “sports cards” for the three main characters (scenarios) that the module follows.

    • Adobe Creative

  • Challenges
The SME initially provided source copy; however, due to the client’s (the original designer’s) limited experience and interest in fitness, feedback indicated that the drafted storyboard outline lacked accuracy and an engagement hook.

To address this, I debriefed with the client, conducted targeted research, and facilitated a one-hour collaboration session with the SME to ensure the content aligned with accurate fitness principles and structured learning goals.

Additionally, the client’s muted color palette posed a challenge in establishing an energetic and motivational tone suited to the audience.

    Solutions

    Color Solution:
I selected a vibrant, unconventional color pairing within brand guidelines and used GIFs to bring energy and a tone of motivation to the design, aligning with the module’s goal of engaging the audience.

    Asset Solution:
Using a structured, iterative approach, I developed the design through four stages: a high-level mockup informed by my discussion with the SME, refinement based on client feedback in the second round, and final adjustments in iterations three and four. I organized the fitness plan using a “step” structure centered on SMART goals, ensuring that each interactive hotspot contributed to a cohesive and engaging user journey. The assets were developed in Vyond, Genially, and Canva per client request, with select elements created in Adobe Creative Suite and layered into the final designs.

This cohesive design framework ensured that each hotspot contributed to user progression, fostering active engagement through visually guided steps and character-driven scenarios.
